  • Dawn Maoirano and Paul Pernerewski make last minute pushes for votes as election day looms and they fight for the Mayor’s Office. Supporters for Dawn were out in force force throughout the city.

  • Election day results is a very low 27% voter turn out and Paul Pernerewski wins with a slight edge off 562 vote over Dawn Maoirano and becomes the Mayor of Waterbury.
  • The Waterbury Marriot was evacuated after a bomb threat
