The Clemente All-Stars gave us something rare this summer—hope, pride, and unity. After a season filled with grit, heart, and unforgettable moments, their run came to an end tonight in Southington with a 5–2 loss in the Sectional Championship.
It ended not with defeat, but with a pop fly in the top of the 6th—symbolic of how close these kids flew to glory. But make no mistake: they won far more than they lost.
They brought life back into Waterbury sports.
They brought us back together.
From the dugouts to the sidewalks, from city parks to living rooms, we were all riding with them.
To the players: you played with heart. You wore Waterbury on your sleeves. You made us believe again.
To the coaches, families, and everyone who supported this journey—thank you for lifting up our kids and reminding us what community looks like.
This summer, the Roberto Clemente All-Stars 12U made history—not just in the scorebooks, but in our hearts.
Take a look back to Where it all started
Take a bow, young kings.
You did that. 🖤💛🧢⚾
Forever proud.
