The new ballot collectors will be simple to use, allowing voters to drop their completed ballots into the machine, where they will be securely stored. The devices are tamper-resistant, ensuring that every vote is protected and handled accurately.
This initiative is part of the state’s effort to modernize its election infrastructure and improve voter experience. The new machines will replace the traditional ballot boxes, streamlining the collection process and minimizing human error.
