Waterbury-On August 27, Waterbury police arrested 12 individuals after executing multiple search and seizure warrants in a coordinated effort targeting drug-related crimes.
Waterbury Early-Morning Drug Raid at 140 Willow Street Leads to Multiple Arrests
The operation was carried out around 10:16 a.m. by the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Crime Prevention Unit, Auto Theft Task Force, and Gang Task Force, working in partnership with the Connecticut State Police.
During the investigation, officers seized a significant amount of heroin and fentanyl, along with ammunition and drug paraphernalia. Authorities also confiscated approximately $8,000 in cash and several firearms, including a 10mm Glock, a Ruger SP101 Revolver, and an American Tactical AR-15.
All 12 suspects were taken into custody following the raids. Police say the arrests mark a significant step toward dismantling illegal drug operations in the area.
