Waterbury Mourns the Loss of Local Legend Domenick ( Dom & Pia )

Waterbury, CT — The city of Waterbury is mourning the loss of one of its most beloved figures, Domenick, the heart and soul behind the iconic Domenick & Pia’s. Known not only for his business but for his unwavering dedication to the community, Domenick’s passing leaves a profound void in the city he cherished.

Domenick & Pia’s, a local institution, will be closed temporarily as the family and community take time to honor his memory and celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind.

A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chase Parkway Memorial in Waterbury. Friends, family, and all those touched by Domenick’s kindness and generosity are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Domenick’s memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury, an organization close to his heart and a vital part of the local community.
