Willow/Hillside/Grove Neighborhood Alliance Holds Monthly Meetings in Waterbury’s Troubled Section

WATERBURY, Conn.— In a major effort to rebuild and strengthen Waterbury’s neighborhoodsThe Parker Jane Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) has launched the Willow/Hillside/Grove Neighborhood Alliance. The initiative aims to connect neighbors, enhance community ties, and improve quality of life in the area.

The Alliance will meet monthly on the last Friday of each month at 3:30 PM at the Waterbury Police Department Community Relations Office, located at 70 Pine Street. All residents from the Willow, Hillside, and Grove neighborhoods are welcome to attend.

Goals of the Neighborhood Alliance

  • Build stronger relationships between neighbors
  • Address quality-of-life concerns, including safety, cleanliness, and community engagement
  • Promote local events and civic participation
  • Collaborate with Waterbury Police and local organizations to create sustainable improvements
