Two Victims Found with Fatal Gunshot Wounds

WATERBURY, Ct. — Police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found dead with gunshot wounds to the head late Monday night in Waterbury.

Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. Detectives and the Major Crimes Division were on site through the early morning hours, collecting evidence and canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
