Residents began reporting deposits early this morning, ending days of uncertainty about when the monthly food assistance would arrive. DSS says all accounts should be updated by the end of the day.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps more than 225,000 Connecticut households purchase groceries. Benefits are typically distributed on a staggered schedule, but slight delays can occur due to processing or state holidays.
If your funds haven’t appeared yet, DSS advises checking your EBT Connect app or calling 1-888-328-2666 to verify your balance.
