WATERBURY, CT — The Waterbury Police Department arrested Ambrose Easter, 36, of Waterbury, following a drug and firearm investigation at 370 West Main Street on the early morning of November 9, 2025. Officers seized multiple controlled substances and a firearm during the incident, which began as a vehicle alarm complaint.


Incident Details

At approximately 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the location after a Ram ProMaster truck triggered an emergency alert. Upon arrival, they observed a masked individual wearing all-black clothing in the rear parking lot. The suspect was later identified as Ambrose Easter.

During the investigation, Easter became agitated and refused to comply with police commands. Authorities seized the following items:

  • PCP
  • Fentanyl
  • Crack cocaine
  • Smith & Wesson firearm

Charges Filed

Easter was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including:

  • Interfering with an Officer
  • Possession of Hallucinogen
  • Illegal Transfer of Pistol/Revolver
  • Criminal Possession of Pistol/Revolver
  • Possession of a Pistol without a Permit
  • Criminal Possession of Firearm/Ammunition
  • Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell (multiple counts)
