WATERBURY — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Waterbury Health Department have issued an urgent recall update involving all ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula products.

The recall affects every unexpired lot, including:

• ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula cans
• ByHeart single-serve “Anywhere” packets

Parents and caregivers who have purchased any ByHeart infant formula are advised not to use the product and to follow recall instructions for refunds or safe disposal.

The Waterbury Health Department is urging families to check their formula immediately and contact their pediatrician with any concerns.
