WATERBURY — Community members are gearing up for another citywide cleanup effort this Saturday as the Litter Control and Beautification Commission hosts its monthly volunteer event at George Tirado Sr. Park.
The cleanup takes place November 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 313 Mill Street, Tirado Park and volunteers of all ages are invited to help restore one of Waterbury’s important neighborhood spaces.
Organizers will provide all cleanup materials, along with snacks and refreshments for everyone who participates. The cleanup is held every 4th Saturday of the month, giving residents a consistent way to support beautification and community pride across the city.
Local supporters and sponsors—Domino’s, DIU Custom, BlueBird Counseling, and the Waterbury Neighborhood Council—are helping make this month’s event possible.
Residents are encouraged to bring friends, family, and neighbors to take part in a hands-on effort to keep Waterbury clean.
A cleaner city starts with us.
