The Waterbury Police Department has arrested five individuals following an earlier reported auto theft incident on Angel Drive that now appears connected to a possible raid at a nearby residence.

Updated Nov 26, 2025- 2 additional suspects have been arrested bringing total involved to 7 men.

What began as a response to a reported auto theft involving a black vehicle quickly escalated as officers converged on the area, Witnesses reported seeing officers moving in formation, consistent with a targeted operation.
