WATERBURY, CT — Waterbury Police are actively investigating an armed robbery at a business on 130 Scott Road around 8:30 PM last night , where a suspect reportedly held up a smoke shop at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

According to initial police radio traffic, the suspect is described as a heavyset Black male wearing a ski mask and black coat. He reportedly brandished a firearm during the incident and escaped in a red sedan with Connecticut license plate AS24167.
