WATERBURY, CT — The Anthony Ireland Holiday Classic is returning for its third consecutive year, bringing together families, athletes, and basketball fans from across the region for a two-day showcase of high-level competition and community spirit.

This year’s classic will feature teams from Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island, solidifying the event as one of the region’s premier holiday basketball gatherings.

Girls Take the Court December 20th

The tournament tips off on Friday, December 20, with girls teams from across the tri-state area competing in a full slate of games. The event emphasizes leadership, sportsmanship, and creating pathways for young female athletes to shine on a big stage.

Boys Take Over December 21st

On Saturday, December 21, the spotlight shifts to the boys games, where fans can expect intense matchups, standout performances, and highlight-worthy moments from some of the most competitive high school programs in the region.

Ticket Information

Adult passes (1-day and 2-day) are available for purchase online through the event’s official link and will also be sold at the door.
Student passes (with valid school ID) and Child passes will be available exclusively at the door.
