Waterbury-Brass City Pawn is still open for business following the fire that occurred a few weeks ago, but customers should be aware of temporary changes to operations.

The shop is currently operating through the front entrance, and staff are asking customers to call ahead before coming in. The section of the building where many pawned items are stored is without power, which means retrieving items must be done manually.

Because of this, wait times may be up to two hours depending on what items need to be accessed. Customers are encouraged to call before arriving or be prepared for delays.

Brass City Pawn appreciates the community’s patience and support as they continue working through fire-related challenges.
