WATERBURY — The City of Waterbury has announced changes to refuse and recycling collection schedules in observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026.

📅 Adjusted Collection Schedule:

• Routes normally collected on Thursday will be picked up on Friday
• Routes normally collected on Friday will be picked up on Saturday

🚛 Transfer Station Closure:
The Mark Lane Transfer Station will be closed on both December 25 and January 1.

City officials are asking residents to plan accordingly and thank the community for its cooperation during the holiday season.
