WATERBURY, CT — Feb. 27, 2026 — The City of Waterbury announced that the Mark Lane Transfer Facility will return to its seasonal operating schedule beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Under the seasonal schedule, the facility will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Residents are reminded that all vehicles must be on the scale no later than 2:30 p.m..

WATERBURY, CT — In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 19, 2026, the City of Waterbury Department of Public Works has announced changes to the city’s refuse and recycling collection schedule.

Collection Schedule Changes

• No refuse or recycling collection on Monday, January 19
• Monday collections → Tuesday, January 20
• Tuesday collections → Wednesday, January 21
• Thursday and Friday collections remain on their regular schedule

Transfer Facility Closure

• The Mark Lane Transfer Facility will be closed on Monday, January 19
• The facility will reopen Tuesday, January 20 at 7:00 a.m.
