Waterbury-The road to a 4-repeat runs through Kennedy tonight.
Defending champion Waterbury Career Academy heads to Kennedy High School to face the Eagles, marking the only regular-season meeting between these two programs and our final visit to Kennedy for our GNIBC series. Kennedy may be eliminated from postseason contention, but make no mistake—this is a classic spoiler game setup.

The Spartans still need three more wins to punch their ticket to the postseason and keep their title defense alive. Every possession matters.
WCA’s senior core—A. Turner, M. Weaver, and A. Rodriguez—will be tested by a hungry, underclassmen-led Eagles squad paced by T. Morrison and a deep cast of sophomores. Adding another layer to the matchup is junior A. Sumler, who has impressed the TWT Sports Desk in the last two Kennedy home appearances and continues to elevate his game.

Expect a physical, athletic, high-energy Waterbury basketball game—defense, rebounding, and toughness setting the tone from the opening tip.
