WATERBURY, CT — The Waterbury Police Department, with assistance from its Vice and Intelligence Unit, Gang Task Force, Auto Theft Task Force, and the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force, executed multiple search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation.
Search warrants were issued for the person of Cesar Arrindell, 27, of Waterbury, his 2007 Honda Accord, and a residence located at 32 Gilyard Drive, Apartment A, according to police.
During the execution of the warrants, officers seized the following items:
Ten Arrested After Drug Raid at Chapman Avenue Residence
- Crack cocaine
- $3,181 in U.S. currency
- Taurus 9mm handgun
- Cobra FS .380 handgun
- Glock .357 handgun
Police noted that one of the firearms recovered had been reported stolen, and none of the individuals involved possessed a valid Connecticut pistol permit.

- Operating an unregistered motor vehicle
Dixiana Ramirez, 23, of Waterbury
- Unsafe storage of a firearm
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Risk of injury to a minor (2 counts)
Luis Laporte, 24, of Waterbury
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
- Risk of injury to a minor (2 counts)
Martin Alvarez, 33, of Waterbury
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell

The Waterbury Police Department said it remains focused on proactive policing efforts aimed at reducing violent crime and maintaining public safety throughout the city.
