WATERBURY, CT — On February 26, 2026, at approximately 11:18 a.m., Waterbury Patrol Officers responded to reports of shots fired near 1900 North Main Street.
According to the Waterbury Police Department, the incident appears to be isolated, stemming from a disturbance between two individuals.
- Victim: An adult male was transported to a local hospital with several gunshot wounds.
- Condition: Non-life-threatening; currently stable.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred at approximately 11:18 a.m. in the area of Tony’s Tires & Rims, located at 1138 North Main Street.

- The suspect is described as a white male wearing a red shirt and black shorts
- The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a gray Honda CR-V, heading down Chase Avenue
