While progress is clearly visible—with upgraded sidewalks, ongoing roadway work, and new design elements beginning to take shape—the area remains an active construction zone in multiple sections. Some portions appear closer to completion, while others show that work is far from finished.

For residents, drivers, and local business owners, the day-to-day reality is a mix of improvement and disruption. Traffic patterns continue to shift, accessibility varies block by block, and the full impact of the project is still playing out in real time.

As the city moves into the spring season, Bank Street stands as a work in progress—offering a glimpse of what’s coming, while still dealing with the challenges of getting there.
