After nearly a year of recovery, Bryan is now home with family and friends. His nurse reports he is “getting a little better day by day—a work in progress.”

The Calle family expresses their deep gratitude for the support, prayers, and well wishes they have received throughout this difficult journey. A special thanks goes to Senator Chris Murphy for helping expedite visas so Bryan’s parents could travel from Ecuador and be by his side.

To share a message of hope, the family released a new photo of Bryan with loved ones, replacing the haunting images from when he was in a coma.

The trial for JOHN EGAN is scheduled for April 25th, and The Waterbury Times will continue to provide coverage leading up to and during the proceedings.
