
WATERBURY — Tensions spilled onto Washington Street late Saturday night, ending in tragedy. Around 9:30 p.m., police responded to a stabbing and found an adult man outside suffering from multiple stab wounds. Sadly, he didn’t make it—he was rushed to the hospital but passed away shortly after.
Another adult male was also on the scene with serious facial cuts and a minor laceration. He was treated at a local hospital and has since been released.
Waterbury’s Major Crimes unit is treating the incident as a homicide. The identity of the victim isn’t public yet; authorities are working with the Chief Medical Examiner to confirm.
