Waterbury’s Clemente 12U All-Stars Dominate to Win Championship

On Sunday, the Clemente All-Stars rolled into Shelton for the District 3 finals and straight-up dominated Seymour 9–1. No stress, no tension—this squad came locked in, and the city showed up big, packing Nike Field bleachers with energy and love.

But they didn’t just win the game—they sent a message. Every pitch, every swing, every hustle play was a flex. These kids reminded us what this game is about: heart, swagger, and grind.

How did we get here? A look back

Now? They’re headed to Southington this Saturday for sectionals—four teams, one champ. Win that pool, and state tourney’s next. Bristol’s regional? TV cameras will be rolling. ESPN’s got their eyes on these kids, and honestly, they’ve earned every bit of shine.

Then comes Williamsport—the promised land of Little League dreams. If Clemente plays like they did this weekend, that’s exactly where they’ll be heading.

📣 Big ups to the All-Stars—you made the city proud. Catch you Saturday in Southington. Keep that energy, keep the hustle, and remember: it’s more than baseball—it’s your moment.
