WATERBURY, CT – A shooting overnight on Willow Street left a woman dead. Police have not yet released her identity as officials alert family as part of the ongoing investigation.

The Waterbury Police Department says detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are handling the case. Investigators are canvassing the area for witnesses and reviewing available surveillance footage. No suspect has been taken into custody at this time.
