WATERBURY — The man who allegedly jumped more than 20 feet while fleeing from Waterbury police Friday has been identified as 30-year-old Dayshaun Anthony Nolberto, according to police.
Nolberto, who was taken to the hospital after the fall, was later arrested, police said.

According to Connecticut court records, Nolberto has several prior cases in Waterbury and Bristol dating back to 2021. Those previous dockets include charges for reckless endangerment, attempted assault of public safety personnel, evading responsibility involving injury or property damage, reckless driving, and multiple counts of failure to appear, among other motor vehicle offenses.

Court records show at least three companion cases tied to earlier incidents in Bristol, with “rearrest ordered” entries in 2023. Several of those files list automatic termination of bond and note that Nolberto had previously been released from custody.
