Waterbury Man Injured in Walnut Street Shooting; Police Seek Information

WATERBURY — On Nov. 29 at approximately 7:30 p.m., police were notified after a gunshot victim admitted himself to a local hospital.

According to Waterbury Police, the victim — a 37-year-old Waterbury man — suffered several non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, including a graze wound to the back of his head and another round that struck the rear of his shoulder. He remains in stable condition.

Detectives determined the shooting stemmed from an argument between individuals in the 300-block of Walnut Street.

Police say the investigation is open and active.
