WATERBURY, CT — The Waterbury Police Department announced the arrest of a 36-year-old man following a search warrant operation targeting alleged drug activity earlier this month.
On March 6, 2026, officers from the department’s Gang Task Force, Vice and Intelligence Unit, and Auto Theft Task Force executed search warrants for the person of Jeffrey Williams, 36, of Waterbury, as well as a residence on Chestnut Avenue.
During the search, officers reported seizing:
- A Glock 17

- Approximately 6 grams of crack cocaine
- $1,491 in U.S. currency
- Drug paraphernalia
Williams was taken into custody without incident.

He faces multiple charges, including:
- Risk of Injury to a Child
- Operating a Drug Factory
- Illegal Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell
- Illegal Sale/Purchase of a Large Capacity Magazine
Police stated the investigation is part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activity in the community.
