WATERBURY — The City of Waterbury Juneteenth Collective will host the annual Juneteenth Parade on Saturday, June 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The parade will begin on North Elm Street and proceed through downtown Waterbury before concluding at Library Park, where a Juneteenth Festival will follow.
Parade Route:
The procession will travel through parts of downtown, including:
- North Elm Street
- Church Street
- Grand Street
- Center Street
- Bank Street
- Ending at Library Park
The event is part of the city’s broader Juneteenth observance honoring freedom, culture, and community.
Organizers describe the celebration as an effort to recognize Juneteenth while bringing residents together for cultural programming and community engagement.
The parade and festival are organized in coordination with the Juneteenth Collective and local community partners.
