Waterbury, CT —A shooting early this morning on Grand Street left one person wounded and multiple buildings and vehicles struck by gunfire, according to police.

The incident was first reported at 1:54 AM, when an officer in the area called out several shots fired in front of the Post Office and surrounding blocks.

One Victim Shot
A male victim sustained gunshot wounds to the abdomen and his side.
He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by a friend before officers arrived on scene.
