WATERBURY — On Nov. 29 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Waterbury Police officers patrolling the area of Grand Street heard what they believed to be gunshots. Moments later, a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds arrived at a local area hospital seeking treatment.





Police say the incident was an isolated confrontation between two small groups of individuals, resulting in one victim.
The victim, a 39-year-old Waterbury man, sustained gunshot wounds to his arm and abdomen. Medical staff reported his injuries to be non-life-threatening.
Detectives are actively investigating the shooting.
