Police said the suspect fired a shot from the driver’s side window of a moving vehicle, striking the victim’s car. The bullet hit both the passenger-side window and windshield while both vehicles were traveling southbound on Waterbury Road.

THOMASTON, CT — Police are actively investigating a road rage incident involving gunfire on Waterbury Road in Thomaston Tuesday afternoon, raising concerns across the greater Waterbury area.
According to initial reports, shots were fired around 3:30 p.m. on March 17, 2026, during what authorities believe began as a road rage confrontation. It is currently unclear if anyone was injured.
