Waterbury- Waterbury Police have now classified the death of a 50-year-old Watertown man found outside the Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care on Chase Avenue as an “untimely death,” according to Sgt. Joseph Morais.
Police say detectives and members of the department’s forensics unit responded to assist in the investigation after officers located the man unresponsive around 6 a.m. Monday morning.
Authorities stated that no evidence of criminal activity was found, and the incident is not being investigated as a criminal matter at this time.
The identity of the man has not yet been released.
No additional details regarding the cause or manner of death have been made public.

Waterbury- Waterbury Police say a 50-year-old Watertown man was found unresponsive early Monday morning outside the Hartford Health urgent care facility on Chase Avenue.
According to police, officers responded to Hartford Health Urgent Care around 6 a.m. on May 11, 2026, for a reported medical assist. Upon arrival, officers located the man unresponsive outside the building.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives and members of the department’s forensics unit responded and conducted an investigation. Police said the death was determined to be an untimely death, and investigators found no evidence of criminal activity.
The identity of the man has not yet been released.
