Waterbury — The City of Waterbury Department of Public Works announced that there will be no changes to refuse and recycling collection schedules in observance of Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, 2026.

All refuse and recycling collections will take place on their regularly scheduled days.

The Mark Lane Transfer Facility will also remain open during normal business hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
