CTSBDC Looking for Creative Minds to Redesign Statewide Small Business Development Center Logo

Hartford- Waterbury residents with a creative eye have the opportunity to turn their design skills into $1,000 prize.

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) is launching a statewide logo redesign contest and is inviting members of the public — including local designers, artists, students, and entrepreneurs — to submit ideas for a refreshed brand identity.

The winning design will receive $1,000 plus recognition from CTSBDC.

CTSBDC helps entrepreneurs across Connecticut start, grow, and strengthen their businesses through expert advising and resources. The organization is seeking a new logo that reflects its mission while creating stronger visual connections to both the State of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut (UConn) brand identities.

According to CTSBDC, the new logo should modernize its current look while maintaining the organization’s own unique identity.

“We’re looking for a fresh logo that brings our mission to life and shows our statewide impact,” CTSBDC said in its design announcement.

The contest is open to the public, including UConn students. However, current UConn faculty and staff are not eligible to receive the prize.
