Waterbury- As summer vacation reaches the halfway point, Waterbury children and families still have access to free breakfast and lunch through the city’s Summer Meals Program.
Waterbury Public Schools Announces 2026–2027 School Year Calendar
The program, operated through Waterbury Public Schools and community partners, continues through early August at locations throughout the city, providing nutritious meals for children while school is out. The Summer Food Service Program helps ensure students continue to have access to meals during the summer months.
Fourteen locations across Waterbury are participating this summer, including schools, community centers, and neighborhood organizations. Breakfast and lunch schedules vary by location, with many sites operating Monday through Friday and some locations closed on Fridays.
